"The shark placemats were a cute addition to my son's party. They are durable thin plastic. I let the children take their placemats home so they could do the activites on the back of them. They are cute and added to our shark theme."

"I bought these placemats because someone wrote in the review that they were made of "durable thin plastic!" Well, they are made of PAPER; that is why I got SO dissapointed, not for the quality of the product; I was expecting thin plastic placemats that the kids will take home after the party. They look cute, but nothing to save after the party. If you buy them for the look, go ahead, but they are not favors that the kids will take home. The quality of the paper is very good for a paper placemat and the design goes with the theme of the party. They will last the whole shark party with some splashes here and there, but that's it."
