"I wanted to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday, not depress him. Most party supplies for 40 are black and over the hill.

I wanted his party to be more of a Fiesta instead of a funeral. These brightly colored plates did the trick. Plus the square shape adds extra room for the dessert plates."
