"This costume was everything it was advertised to be. I had a little problem tying the head wrap just like the photo, but otherwise it was perfect. My daughter loved it. She didn't wear it with the shoulders down (it was 50 degrees outside Halloween night), but it still looked great."

"I liked this modest costume for my "not too girlie" 8 year old. She was thrilled with it. I loved that it was a complete costume and I didn't have to buy a bunch of accessories. I just let her use some of my costume jewery pieces and "Ta Da!" Done."

"My daughter loved this costume the second she saw it in on-line. When it arrived she put it on immediatly and didn't want to take it off.
She recieved a bunch of compliments and didn't want to take it off after trick or treating. This will be a favorite dress up outfit!!"

"My daughter wore this costume for halloween and loved it. The little "coins" sewed on to the belt jingled when she walked. She received lots of compliments. I ordered the size 8-10, which was perfect but my daughter is a very petite 9-year-old (more like the size of a 7-year-old) so I would say that the costume runs small."

"This is a sweet costume. My daughter loves it. Lots of features and detail. However, the stitching is really flimsy, and a big section of the hem frayed under and ripped out after two hours of wear. When I went to repair it, I saw that the stitching was missing in that section and the fabric had raveled."

"We actually turned this into a pirate costume and received many compliments (eye patch, boots and sword). My daughter wears a size 6 but based on other reviews I order up (we got the medium which is suppose to be for sizes 8-10). Even with ordering up the top portion of the dress was snug with just a long sleeve tee shirt under it and we had a tough time getting it on....over her shoulders and her arms thru (at one point I thought we were going to rip it). Despite the "snugness" of the top portion the length was perfect and it makes for such a cute costume. Definitely order up and plan to layer if the weathers cool bc the material is thin."

"Costume was too small. It was ripped and dirty when it arrived. It was too late to return it. I had to sew the rip and the coins where coming off the sash and it was so see thru. This was the cheapest made costume i have ever bought. I cut the shirt off the skirt and and just used the skirt with another shirt."

"This costume is very cute and was exactly what my daughter wanted. She wears size 8 jeans and tops so I bought the size 8/10. I thoght about going up a size but I was worried about the length. The length is good on the 8/10 (my daughter is 52" tall) but the torso runs small. I probably would have ordered a size larger but my daughter was afraid we wouldn't get the new one in time for her party."

"My daughter fell in love with this costume when she saw it in a friend's catalog. I was unsure that the quality would meet my expectations but the costume is very pretty. You can't really tell in the photo, but the peasant top is cotton while the skirt is satin. I think this mismatch makes it more authentically gypsy! I am glad I read the reviews before ordering because it definitely runs small My daughter wears a 6x and I ordered the 8-10 and it fits just right without a bit of growing room. Keep that in mind."
