"It is true that this is a "cheap" helmet, but it is totally adequate for children, and appropriate for the price of this costume. The "fancy" helmets are selling for about $90 on eBay! One reviewer stated that the helmet included with the costume is not the helmet pictured. I have looked at the photo in the listing of this costume, and the helmet my son received looks like it. When put together, the helmet he received is narrower (it will be a "trick" to get it on correctly over his glasses.) But with photo editing software, the helmet could have been widened for the photo, or my son may have received a "defective" helmet. In any event, my son LOVES the costume. He is 11. He is a bit disappointed by the narrowness of the helmet, but it will be fine for Halloween. I think this "narrow" helmet would fit a younger child just fine."

"I bought this for my 7 year old son. When we opened it I gave it to him to try on. He came down stairs and said it wasn't what he thought it would be. The helmet is the flimsy plastic that I remember from the masks that you used to get in drugstores 30 years ago. The fabric is stiff and cheap. We did not keep it. He asked if he could return it for something else.
Up until last year, my purchases from Celebrate Express have been wonderful quality. They are higher priced, but have been worh it. I've purchased from them multiple times a year to fill dress up chests for my children. The costumes that I've purchased from them this year won't make it much beyond Halloween if they make it that far. No exageration. I am so disappointed."

"I ordered this costume for my 6 year old son. The costume itself is very nice. The helmet was the biggest problem for us - it was very cheaply made and came apart. I just glued it back together and everything worked out."

"My son"had" to have this costume & I finally broke down & ordered it.
It came packed well, within the timeframe advertised & boy, is my son happy! He immediately tried it on (all 7? pieces) and impressed us all with the quality & value. The velcro came off the faceshield to the helmet before he even tried putting it together, but that was very easily remedied.
For the cost, we are very happy with the purchase...sure beats what you see in the stores!"

"This was my 6 year-old's costume pick for this year and he loves it! There are a couple pieces not shown in this picture which are included to put on the costume...think we won't include them on Halloween though. My son normally wears 5/6 shirts and pants and we ordered the small size. Fits perfectly!!"
