"The hats were great. All the kids loved them, and they were durable. BUT they came unassembled. I had to put the hats together and attach the elastic. You may want to take this into consideration. Make sure you give yourself enough time."

"These are a cute idea but at least for a bunch of two year olds didn't go over that well. My son wore it for 5 minutes then took it off. I tried it out and found it was uncomfortable to wear. But maybe that's the nature of this type of hat? The construction was good. It took me a while to assemble and I tore a few in the process but taped them and still used them. We mainly ended up using them as table decorations!"

"After reading all the reviews I was not going to purchase the hats out of fear of not being able to put them together but they were very easy to assemble and not time consuming at all I would recommend buying them for the yo gabba gabba theme I had no problems"

"These were really cute, but took some time to figure out & then assemble!! I am a fairly smart person :), so you think it shouldn't be that hard....but with no instructions, I had to use trial and error, ESP. when trying to figure out how to attach the strings to the hat. I thought that the board the strings came on had to figure into the equation somehow, but what you need to do is remove the strings from the board and THEN wrap the ends of the strings around the little loops on both sides of the hat. All in all, if your little one is a HUGE YGG fan like my daughter is, the approx. 10-20 assembly is totally worth the smiles!"

"i was disappointed to open the box and find that the hats all had to be put together. i would have much preferred hats that were already made for me since i am a busy mom. also all the hats are brobi. i assumed they would be all the yo gabba gabba characters but was disappointed about that too. oh well"

"I have ordered from Birthday Express for years, and this is the first time that I had to put the hats together before using them. It took forever, and there were no instructions or guide to follow. Luckily I started on the day before the party, because I never would have finished on the party date. With the money that I paid for my supplies, I should not have had to assemble them before using."
