"These were used at my 5-year-olds Pirate Birthday Party. We used them at first to tie the kids together at the ankle for the Captain's Peg Leg Race (three-legged race). Then many kids (especially the older ones) tied them on their heads and wore them throughout the party. It was a nice addition to the party favors. They come very stiff and you may want to take the time to wash them before passing them out."

"Our 5 year old bday boy couldn't wait until I let him have is sword. When I finally gave it to him, he really wasn't that excited. The handle is flat so it makes holding on to it difficult. Who plays pirate in the dark? The glow in the dark aspect wansn't needed."

"I bought these to be used for a party with the theme of "How to Train Your Dragon" and each child would need a sword for a few of the games we had planned. They were terrific! Some of the kids were older siblings, cousins and friends. They are surprisingly durable and worked great for the party and were very hardy swords. Out of 24 swords, one child broke his (age 13) playing rather aggressively. For the cost, and the service I would recommend the sword as well as using this company. I bought them 3 days before the party and they came the day before the party as was indicated on the shipping order. Very pleased with my purchase."
