"Two big problems:
1- The strap is SO tight, I can't imagine that any 1-year-old would let you put it on her.
2 - It's for ages 3 and up... Even though it's for a 1st birthday. Go figure."

"The hat is very cute and we are going to make it work for my daughter's first birthday, but the elastic string was so tight, I couldn't get it over her head. I don't know any one year old whose head this hat would fit on, but we're going to cut the elastic and tie it with a pink ribbon!"

"This little birthday hat was the cutest thing for the birthday girl to be noticed that it was her 1st birthday.
The only thing is that the string was a little tight, since she has a bigger head than most babies, so I just had her where the string behind her ears and it stayed on just fine."
