"This is an excellent product that is a bit out of the ordinary from the traditional signature items. It is very large with lots of room for guests to write and is very classy. Unlike other 1st birthday items it can be kept in a child’s room long after they turn one. The fact that you can erase any mistakes or smudges with a cloth and some water is great ( that is of course before it is baked). We had to do this a couple of times but it was our fault as we didn't give the ink time to dry. Just make sure the pen is well inked on a sheet of paper before you start writing. Would certainly buy one of these for my next child."

"bought this for my daughter's 1st b'day. best decision...the quality, colours are amazing. price very good too. the online picture really does not do it justice! did buy some different colour pens from michael's, just to add colour to the plate and to be on the safe side. would consider buying from celeberate express in the future without any hesitation....highly recommend this site to all."

"The Plate was Simply "BEAUTIFUL". I was not expecting such a quality plate. My eyes were opened with EXCITEMENT when I saw the PLATE. Reading the other reviews, I brought the extra writing pens.....and Yes, I had to use them but also it said that the pen must be flat.....I kept it upright...never the less, everyone was able to sign. "You will not be disappointed with this purchase."

"This plate comes with a special marker. Half way through my guests signing the plate, the pen died. One of my guests had to run to Michael's and searched for a replacement pen. Luckily, she found it and bought two, just in case. Other than the marker issue, it was a great way for my daughter to have a lasting memory of all the family and friends who attended her very special first birthday party!"

"This birthday plate is very cute and the concept of preserving a first birthday memory is wonderful, however the pen tip broke with the first stroke. We had to finish the project with a magic marker and could not finish the instructions to bake the plate to make the writing permanent. Such a disappointment."

"We ordered this plate for our daughter's one-year birthday. I liked the idea when I saw it on the web site, but once we got it in the mail and opened it, we were so excited - it was better than we thought. We had the plate displayed with the pen on the table with her cake and gifts. So it became part of the celebration. And it's been so special to read what everyone wrote to our daughter - it will be a great memory to revisit every year."
