Great if You Don't Mind a Paint Mess
Date:March 26, 2010
"These were a really nice craft for the kids. The only problem with them is that they involve paint and, of course, that means there is a drying time. We did them right at the beginning of the party and they were mostly dry for guests to take home."

Fun and Creative!

"My 11 yr. old twin girls & their friends LOVED these bobble head dogs! The name tags were cute, paints didn't clump, and they got to use their creativity in a fun way!"

"This turned out to be a big hit. We had 10 girls over for a slumber party, and this activity took up a good 45 minutes of the evening. The girls (and the 3 yr old little brother) loved painting the bobbleheads and had something to take home with them. I would recomend this activity."

Flimsy Paintbrushes
Date:July 15, 2009
"A cute and easy activity, but the paintbrushes come individually wrapped and when you try to pull off the plastic sleeve, the whole brush tip comes off. So, if you are going to buy this, I suggest having backup paintbrushes on hand. The girls (7 year olds) enjoyed it, after we got past that problem."

A Great Party Craft!
Date:July 14, 2009
"These bobble head dogs were the craft at my 7-year-old daughter's puppy-themed birthday party. There were 8 girls, all with different levels of ability, and they loved this activity! It kept them occupied for quite a while, was not too messy(!), and the results were really cute! Each one was unique, and the girls enjoyed having them to take home. Just make sure to throw some old t-shirts over the party clothes, and give each child a plastic plate to work on, plus some water and napkins to clean the brushes."

Great but beware
Date:July 14, 2009
"These were a great party activity but the paint runs out so quickly. Children don't understand the concept of less is more more. So, luckily I had some no shows for the party and the kids used their paint. Otherwise, they would have had half unpainted dogs."

Cute craft!
Date:July 13, 2009
"My daughter wanted these for her 8th birthday party. This craft was a huge hit with all the kids, even my 4 year old. They spent a lot of time painting and coming up with names for their dogs. They received the party favor boxes too but they enjoyed having their painted puppies to take home!"
