"This was great for my 3 year olds princess party. I put it together myself, very basic and easy, took about 30 m inutes. I colored a little myself to give the kids an idea and make sure it looks decsent! FOr the kids i suggest to ue crayons unless you want a huge mess! It lasted another week after the party. My 3 and 4 year old are very rough, a week is a long time!"

Title: best party activity Date: December 3, 2009
"I planned a superheroes and princess birthday party for my 4 year old son. I was looking for a fun project/activity for the children to do. This castle was a huge success with the girls and the boys !! I bought coloring pens and stickers and everybody had fun decorating the castle. The little superheroes had fun defending the castle and the princesses were playing hide and seek inside the little castle court. The fun did not start or end there. My husband and my son had lots of fun building the castle together before the party (very easy to do) and after the party, I kept the castle in the middle of the playroom and my son still adds some coloring to it and plays make belief games with his superheroes toys and dinosaurs in his castle. Great purchase overall and did not find anything comparable on any other website or in a retail store."

Title: Exactly what I was looking for Date: November 28, 2009
"This was an absolutely perfect decoration and activity at my daughter's princess themed 3rd birthday. Markers work better on the cardboard but because the kids were all so young I went with crayons and they worked fine. The only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 from me is that I'd hoped it would have lasted a little longer. During the party the drawbridge ripped off and then within a week most of the joints were ripped and falling apart. However, keep in mind that it's cardboard and not meant to last forever! I definitely got what I paid for and would buy it again."

Title: Castle for a Princess Date: November 26, 2009
"I ordered this product for my daughter's third birthday party. She loves castles as much as, if not more, than the princess dolls. The kids couldn't wait for me to construct the castle so they could get busy coloring the walls and climbing in through the fold down door. It was such a big hit with all of them, boys and girls alike!"

Title: Fun Castle Date: November 25, 2009
"I had my doubts about this castle but it really is great. My daughter saw it in the catalog and really wanted it for her 4th birthday party. I thought it would be a fun activity for the kids--they could color parts of it, crawl in and out, etc. I didn't think it would stand up well, but it's been two months and it's still basically together. One of our cats actually did more damage than the kids.

At the party, the kids colored just a little and had some fun with the castle, but the benefit to us has been for our two children playing in it and with it. My 5-6 year-old son brings in his knights, army guys, and Star Wars figures and they protect my daughter's princesses.

We've carted it off to one end of the living room and they play with it at least once a week. Not bad for the price. It's still mostly uncolored.

It took my brother a little time to piece it together but it wasn't too difficult. Just set aside 30 minutes or so.

"I just finished throwing my daughter's three year old birthday party and the castle was a huge hit! The girls (and big brother) loved coloring and climbing inside the castle. I don't think it will stand too much abuse, but so perfect for a party activity and I know my kids will enjoy playing with it and doing puppet shows for as long as it lasts."

Title: 2nd time buyer Date: July 16, 2009
"I bought this product for my oldest daughter's 3rd birthday party. It was perfect for the princess theme. When my younger daughter decided that she needed a princess party, I knew we needed a castle again!
The castle takes a little time to put together, but it's not too hard. We could get about 3 three-year-olds inside at a time. The kids at the party enjoyed it, and we left it up in our playroom for several months (until it was worn out). We never colored the castle -- I was never ready to let three-year-olds loose in my house with markers!
