"night before our party we filled out pinata (a great size & no annoying paper to pull out before you fill) after filling we lifted it up to have everything fall out the bottom - the pinata was defective, duct tape to the rescue & we were able to use it"

"We received the pinata a few days before the party. I noticed that the side was not intact, but the crepe paper over it was. Since this is a "pull the string" pinata, I thought that was why it wasn't sealed. We only got thru 3 kids, with 12 waiting. Needless to say, it didn't hold up. Disappointed."

"The pinata hung crooked--the handle on top was off center. But worst of all, it didn't break open when the correct string was pulled! So we just had to dump the candy out through the hole where we put it in. Very anti-climactic."

"It was a big hit!! Was as pictured . Went well with the Super Mario theme for my grandson's birthday. Children took turns pulling strings and got to last one & I thought , what if it doesn't work---my grandson's turn was last and it couldn't have been timed any better as down came the goodies. Perfect ending to a great party!!"

"Not only did this piñata hold a TON of candy and toys, but it was so strong and durable, the kids had a hard time breaking it! They all got more than one turn to bat at it and after the third go around, a grown-up stepped up and gave it a couple pops. The older kids loved it as well as the little ones. We got two just in case it was broken before my birthday boy was able to break it, however we truly didn't need the second one due to its durability! We will continue to buy this piñata for as long as our son is into Mario!!!"

"The overall appearance is great. I'd say it was worth the money b/c in the end my son still loved it, and thats what matters to me.
BUT none of the strings opened the stupid thing. I had to rip it open and shake the candy out for the kids. It was the first pull-string one I had ever bought & only did b/c the bowling alley wouldn't let me do the other kind. If you can, I say stick to the old fashioned beat with a stick kind. WAY FUNNER!"
