"I ordered this piece also to complete the Cleopatra ensemble. There were very visible globs of glue holding the gold balls on top of the headpiece. I was not able to get it to flatten out on top of the wig, resulting in a pointy appearance."

"The headpiece is the final touch to the Cleopatra costume! Although, the costume DOES come with a headpiece, it is not as elegant as the beaded, separately sold headpiece. A few beads did come off of the headpiece as soon as I opened the package, but the missing beads were un-noticable and easy to replace. If purchased, you may need to apply bobby pins to the top of the headpiece to keep it on your child's head (the headpiece has no combs to keep in place). Some strands that hang over the forehead were uneven, this did bother me a bit, but ultimately, my child loved it and got compliments all night long!"

"I bought this head piece to finish off my 8 year old daughter's cleopatra costume. First of all, there were big clumps of glue on it holding the beads. Secondly, the piece was too small. I tried stretching it out so that it would sit well on my daughter's head, but it never fit well. We tried pinning it to her hair, but it wasn't comfortable. Lastly, the color is definitely bronze, not gold. If the head piece fit, I thought that the price would have been fair, but it didn't and looked cheap. Waste of money"

"I was pretty excited to find this at that price. When I received it, I was SHOCKED. The "beads" are super glued on and there are CHUNKS of superglue on almost EVERY BEAD! So much that you couldn't even "scrap" some off. It looks AWFUL! I'm sending it back today."

"We received the head piece and was disappointed in the color. In the catalog, it looked gold. The one we received was orangey in color. It didn't match the gold in the catalog at all. It also looks to be too small....even for my 6 year old's head. If I had to do it again, I would not get this headpiece."

"I ordered this headpiece to accompany the Cleopatra costume for my daughter. Big mistake! Before I even took it out of the package I realized that the color would not work. The costume is gold, but the headpiece is more of a copper color that I found distracting. As I opened it I noticed that several of the beads were missing. When I tried it on my daughter’s head, a few more fell off. The ones that managed to hang in there were held in place with huge globs of glue that were clearly visible. Also, it is not a one-size-fits-all headpiece. I could not get it to sit properly on my daughter’s head. Cute concept, poor execution. I would return it, but Costume Express’ policy says that I would be responsible for shipping costs both ways. Since I live in the Virgin Islands, and I was already charged extra for shipping, I’m stuck with it. Don't waste your money!"

"This headpiece was very nice. The only drawback was that is didn't stay on very easily. It could be improved by adding a small comb to the inside top to keep in secure in your hair. Otherwise, plan on using some bobby pins."
