"cute costume but the twinkle lights were fiber optic and not as bright as I had hoped. There is a button to press to activate the lights then they sparkle for about 15 seconds. A switch to keep them on would be better."

"I was extremely disappointed in this purchase. As someone who has ordered from this magazine every year, I expected far better. The dress didn't look anything like the light up dress in the picture. The lights were not white, but red and there were not very many of them. VERY disappointed. Would NOT recommend to anyone interested in the light up aspect. was a cute dress overall just not what we were looking for."

"We purchased the size 8-10 for our average sized 7 year old and it fit perfectly. The costume was easy to put on & take off but the switch for the lights is in an awkward location so that took some gettting used to. The lights do not show up at all until it is completely dark outside so don't expect to be WOWed while you are putting on the costume at home but it does light up nicely in the dark. The hat is a cute accessory & I'm glad that the batteries are already included & installed when you receive the package."

"I got this for my 2 year old Daughter and she loved it. I couldn't get it off her. My daughter wears a 2T I got the 3T and I am glad that I did. I ended up cutting the elastic in the waist and around the arms. My daugter only weighs 27lbs so she is not all that big. Other than that I was very happy with this product."

"We loved the Twinkle Witch costume! It is absolutely adorable! She was easy to see while trick-or-treating! Not to mention, she looked absolutely precious. The toddler sized costume ran very small, so we had to go up a full size. The costume is so well made, we'll have it around for a long time! "I ordered this costume for my 6 year old. When it came she had to try it on right away! She loved the fact that it lit up. The lights do not look like the picture, but they are cute none-the-less. We live in a cold climate so it was easy to layer a long sleeve under the top and add black sweats on the bottom. Over-all we were very happy with the costume."

"My daughter, who is 7, likes the costume and I agree it is cute. However, the lights are not orange as shown, they are green and they only stay lit for a few seconds at at time. I followed the advise of other reviewers and ordered a size up (8/10) and I am glad I did. My daughter is a size 7 slim and the size 8/10 costume fits her perfectly. One thing that she does not like, she says the costume is terribly itchy...but that is an easy fix."

"I ordered this dress for my daughter who just turned 2. She is in the 50th percentile for height and weight, so I was a little worried that the 2/4 may be too big for her. It fit her perfect in length, but didn't even close all the way in the back...it was way too small. Order bigger or don't order at all! Also, the lights on the picture show yellow, but they are very faint green."

"My daughter is 3 1/2 and she loves this costume! It fit her perfectly. She thinks it's great when it lights up. It was daylight when it arrived, so we huddled in the interior bathroom in the dark to see it work. The costume goes to almost the floor, so there is really no need to get the boots. They won't really be seen. The picture makes it look like more of the leg shows, but maybe that is true for the larger sizes."
