"Not terrible, but won't last more than one Halloween. The closure in the back is a tiny bit of velcro and the rest below gaps open.
My son is 7 and I bought the size 8-10. It fit perfectly, so I recommend ordering a size up unless your child is small for his age."

"This costume is poorly made and did not hold up well. My son (5) wore it once for about an hour before Halloween and it had runs/pulls in it and the pieces that attach to it tore. We ended up having to buy a new costume before halloween b/c this one fell apart."

"I bought this costume according to the size chart information provided on the website and was very disappointed when I got it because the package says that a size Medium (8-10) fits a 5-7 years-old child. It sure is a very nice costume and very easy to dress up but my 8 years-old son will have to wear a brand new short Ninja costume tomorrow for his school Halloween celebration. How frustrating this could be!"

"I ordered a size Large for my 8 yr old who wears a 7/8 but had to return - it is huge! - the shoulders are wide and the pants are long and very baggy. I can say I am very happy with the Shadow Ninja Dark Raven and the Night Shadow (Blue) we also ordered. Those both have great details and fit well. And customer service was very good."

"I wish someone had written a review of this before me. My child is well within the limits of the medium, but getting it on is an enormous struggle. And once on it looks nothing like the picture. I don't think even a large would cover him like the picture shown. I really don't want him to wear it but he won't' let me return it....... So buy big!!"
