Title: Scary Looking
Date: October 7, 2009
"The costume is really cool. The material could have been made a little bit more durable because my son hasn't even worn this yet, and the chest piece is already ripping. Other than that, the rest of the costume is good. The mask is made very durable, and the "fake" blood pump seems to work fine. The sickle goes great with this costume."

"The plastic ribs had several cracks in it . . right out of the box. So the blood leaked and it was not repairable."

"I was happy when I got this and so was my son. He wore it once for a birthday party and the velcro (4 pieces) pulled off and had to be glued back on as well as one of the tubes for the blood. When worn for Halloween the blood leaked out of the chest and the velcro came off again. Workmanship on those could be better."

Title: Awesome Dripping Blood Feature
Date: November 27, 2009
"I let my son pick his costume online this year and he chose the Bloody Bones Costume from Costume Express. I was surprised at how quickly we received it, since we live in Canada... it was really fast! My son loved the awesome dripping blood feature... and I guess that's what's important, that he likes it... and did he ever!"

Title: Not the best set up
Date: November 26, 2009
"Difficult set up of the bleeding-action chest; came with no real directions after initiating the pumping action. Blood just kind of stayed setting at the bottom of the chest with the long tube hidden under the robe; maybe not for a 7 year old"

Title: Poor quality
Date: November 25, 2009

"It looks great in the photo, but it was impossible to keep the chest part attached to the robe, the robe frayed at the end and it kept tangling around my son's legs! I was very disappointed!! Not worth the money!"

Title: Scary fun
Date: November 25, 2009

"My daughter wanted to be something scary this year to surprise everyone. The costume was easy to assemble. The fake blood did not leak and was fun for all of the kids to watch over and over. Remember to order the sickle also...it completes the outfit."

"My son loved it. Very Scarey. Velcro a bit weak around neck, didn't want to stay closed. Had trouble sitting down with rib plate attached. It was a bit too big for smaller children. But still was popular with friends."

Title: Terrible costume
Date: November 24, 2009

"My son was so excited for this costume. He wore to a Halloween party the night before Halloween. It broke (the blood did not pump and started leaking) within the first 1/2 hour of wearing it. Very disappointed. Had to throw it out and buy a different costume."

Title: Dye disaster!!
Date: November 24, 2009
"My nine-year-old son counted the days until his "Bloody Bones" costume would arrive only to be disappointed by what turned out to be a "Dye Disaster". The costume is designed to appear as though the skeleton has blood circulation churning through the clear plastic skeletal overlay--gross but very cool to a third grader. The circulatory effect is accomplished by squeezing a hand-held chamber that you fill with the included dye mixture. We assembled the "cool part" according to the directions, but found that despite the rubber washer ring meant to prevent leakage, the exact opposite happened. Every time my son would squeeze the chamber, red dye would leak out on his hands, the costume, the floor, etc... We tried to improvise by strengthening the seal with duct tape, teflon tape, and an absorbant material wrapped inside a ziploc all in an effort to not disappoint my son, but in the end we had to come up with another last minute costume because of the leakage."

Title: Chest is cool
Date: November 24, 2009
"The chest of this is very cool and my son loved it!! The construction of the rest of outfit leaves some to be desired. It is nice that the chest can be removed making it easier to ride in the car, but all the velcro let loose on it before we even left the house. I had to use glue and safety pins to hold it all together and even then he had a hard time keeping the robe up over his shoulders."

Title: Fun Costume
Date: October 18, 2009
"My son has been wanting this costume for the last 2 Halloweens, but I've always ordered it too late & it's sold out. We got it in time this year & he's so thrilled with it! I haven't used the blood feature yet, but know that it does come with blood, but I ordered extra anyway. I initially didn't order the skull sickle, but after I completed the order, a window popped up offering accessories with quite a big discount, so try that option when you order. My son is 7 & likes thing well fitted, but I ordered the larger size & it fit him perfectly. So order a size bigger than what you thing you need."

"Was the worst costume my son ever had.It was very uncomfortable. The hard plastic chest piece hurt his neck as it rubbed against it.The velcro to hold chest piece in place kept dropping the chest piece and hurt his shoulders. The mask did not fit and was flat did not conform to his face.Made trick or treating horrible because he was so upset."

Title: Cool Costume
Date: September 19, 2009
"My son wore this last year, he was 9, and it was a big hit. I was a little skeptical when I ordered if it the blood system would be a hassle and/or work but it was super easy. It worked well and was comfortable for him. Everyone loved this costume, he got a lot of compliments. We did not order the sickle, a little much to carry when trick-or-treating."
