"My 7yr old son has wanted this costume for a few years now. It is junk as the other reviews said. He is a size 7 in clothes, and the pants(8) were too big and the shirt(6) was too small. Couldn't put any warm clothes underneath. The belt is cheaper than shown. The package says it comes with a hat but it does not! The badge has to be clipped on a shirt pocket. The shirt is very small, but is nice material. Pants are very cheap. Never again will I spend $40.00 on a costume like this plus shipping and handling!"

"This costume is made to be washed over and over. My 5 year old got one for Halloween two years ago and loved it but grew out of it so we just ordered another one because he wears it almost everyday. Great costume!!"

"My daughter wore this and it was super cute. It is kind of expensive because it doesn't come with the hat but looks really authentic. It is true to size whereas most costumes in my experience run small. I had actually ordered a size up and the wrong size came...thank goodness because it would have been way to big otherwise."

"My Son was set on being a police officer for Halloween and because I've made plenty of purchases through this site I knew the quality would be the best and when it arrived I was not let down ! I did not purchase the hat for my Son 'cause I knew he wouldn't keep it on. However I did purchase the extra belt with all the fun police toys I knew my Son would play with long after Halloween was over !"

"I was really hoping that this costume would be worth the price (high, I thought, since it didn't include the gun belt or hat!). I was relieved when it arrived and I saw that it was not at all cheap or flimsy looking -- it's made of what appears to be real police uniform fabric! My only complaint is that the pants of the size 4/6 were WAY too long for my above-average sized 4 1/2 year old. I had to duct tape them up (didn't want to cut/hem them because they are big enough to wear for the next 5 years if he wants to be a policeman again ;-) That hat (purchased separately) was also fantastic. The gun belt and accessories were another story :-("
