My child won't wear it

"It is cute and made well enough. We are having a hard time getting it on. She complains it hurts her. It's not going to look right if we can't get her hair up like the picture. Look closely at the picture and you'll see the combs on the side in the back. It doesn't sit flush on the head and the combs hurt if you push them down."

"I bought this tiara along with the green pixie dress (which I highly recommend).
I couldn't get it to stay put on my daughter's head!
It has 1 little comb in each side but they didn't help at all... and the wire is so thick that it is very dificult to use your own pins or clips to hold it in place.
