What I expected after reading reviews...

"My 8 year old daughter picked out this costume. She loves the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The price was about the same as all the other uniforms, so I can't really complain about that. The material of the top/jacket/belt (yes...it's all-in-one) could definitely be better. After reading the other reviews, we knew what to expect and to be very careful when putting it on. The pants, boot covers, and hat were fine. As a parent, I wish they had chosen a better material; however, it was my daughter that had to wear it, and she was the happiest "Elizabeth" out there!"

"From looking at the picture, I expected some sort of felt vest over a puffy white shirt. It's one piece and very thin, not what I was expecting. The picture is so much better."

"The picture looks a lot better than the actual product. Very flimsy and messy looking. The boot covers are too large and it looks like the garment will tear after one use."

"Best Pirate Costume for the girly-pirate lover!
I would recommend ordering a size larger than what you think.
(Size 8 in regular clothing fit perfectly in a 9/10 costume)

"it was ok, the boot covers were not long enough to cover my legs, but my mom sewed them on to the shorts. The puffy sleeves were easily ripped,and the belt buckle didnt stay in place too good, and the top buttons didnt actually have a place to slip into. Also, the shirt under the vest, was too short revealing some skin, making me cut holes for the top buttions. but after those minor fixes, it looked great!!!!!"
