"Within 5 minutes of this broom being opened half the feathers had fallen out (or were still inside the bag it came packaged in) and the shaft snapped when attempting to unscrew it for storage after assembling it just one time. Judicious use of electrical tape fixed the shaft and the hot glue gun will fix the feathers, but the quality of this thing isn't worth $2.00."

"We ordered two - one fior myself and one for my daughter. The sparkle broom looks great and would be great for adults. However, feathers started coming out of one almost immediately (without wear), and then many were lost with just a little play by my daughter. We are having to a lot of repair work before Halloween!"

"We had this for one day and the broom broke. My daughter was pretending to "ride" the broom around the house and knocked the wall. The plastic handle broke apart. She started crying and it was so upsetting that I had to hide the broom. I thought it was going to be better quality. I would find a broom somewhere else if you think your child might play with it."

"It snapped in half right after i put it together, leaving the threaded part inside the other half so there was no fixing it other than taping the 2 pieces together which didnt last long. The feather part was actually sturdy and cute but too bad the handle is easily breakable."

"My daughter was simply screwing the 2 pieces together and the plastic threaded part broke off into the other end. My husband had to drill out the 2 ends and glue a dowel inside so it would stay together. For the price it is really cute!! The cuteness & price made it worth the fuss."
