Title:
cute but over-priced
Date:October 31, 2010
"We were disappointed that, considering the high cost of this costume, we still had to stuff the legs with filling and buy shoes to put on the end. It seems like for this price everything should be included! We did get lots of great remarks while trick-or-treating, and even won a couple costume contests with it."

A Winner!
Date:November 9, 2011
"My 9 year old wore this to the community costume contest and won first place. We added rubber "cut off" legs I found from the halloween store, he held onto the "knees" and made the legs "kick". I made a "fin" and velcroed it to the bottom to hide his legs. Everyone loved this costume, he said he felt like a celebrity in it. :) While I would recommend this for a contest or parade, I'm not sure it would work that well for trick-or-treating. He wore another costume for that because, while there are holes for your hands to come out of the front and hold a bag, the legs just hang then and the effect of the costume is lost. Overall, a great costume."

VERY COOL COSTUME
Date:November 1, 2011
"My daughter picked to dress up as the man-eating shark this year after a couple of years of her dad pleading with her to wear this very cool and funny costume. She finally relented and was really GLAD she did! She loved all the attention it got her. While trick-or-treating everyone said how cute and cool the costume was. Everyone chuckled. Many people asked a bunch of questions because they loved it so much. I understand why they don't stuff the fins and pant legs that are sticking out of it's mouth because it would take up way too much room in the box to ship, but it does look much better if you add some stuffing in there, so if you purchase this costume also get some stuffing at a craft or sewing store to complete the look. You also have to provide your own shoes to complete the look of the person sticking out of the shark's mouth, but who doesn't have an old pair of kids shoes around to use. A little pricey for having to get stuffing and provide shoes for the part sticking out of it's mouth, but it is so hilarious and otherwise very well made that it is completly worth it! It definitely was the hit of the neighborhood."

do not buy this
Date:October 26, 2011
"For the money you spend on this it was not worth it!! We could not get the legs/shoes or the head to stay stuffed, it would have been better if shoes or something came with it because what ever you uses for the shoes on the mouth weighs it down."

Totally worth it...
Date:October 24, 2011
"I love this costume and most importantly so does my son. It's well made, will keep him warm, has a face vent area that velcros open/closed so he can eat and drink without taking it off, and has slots where he can have his hands out on front of the fins when he doesn't want to be wiggling his pretend feet or fins. Downside: we'll need to stuff the dorsal fin ourself which I didn't expect in addition to stuffing the legs."

Hysterical!
Date:October 30, 2010
"This costume is definitely an attention getter. It is roomy, but a little difficult for a child to put on by himself. I sewed a pair of Halloween socks stuffed with batting to the top part of the inside of the pseudo jean pants so my son didn't have to keep his hands in shoes. There are hand holes in the fins for access and the top part of the mouth has velcro so he can put his head out. Well made. It goes to mid calf for a avg. 10 year old and roomy enough for a jacket underneath. Very satisfied."
