"My daughter used this for Halloween with her Harry Potter costume. It was her favorite part of the costume and she has even worn it to play in since then. Also since ties are fashionable right now, she gets lots of use from it."

"Since this review was printed under the glasses (excellent accessory, by-the-way), I'm repeating this review here: Well made and held up. My child wore his costume to 3 different Halloween events in addition to trick-or-treating. The color was a bit more purple, but it didn't detract from the costume. Everyone knew exactly what it was. Stood out more in the light than in the dark on Halloween."

"This was a great investment! My son is obsessed with Harry Potter right now, both books and movies, and since watching the movies he's discovered that his Harry Potter costume was lacking in one thing...a Gryffindor necktie. I thought this would be really cheap because it was only $9 (including shipping to Alaska!) but it's pretty nice. Silky material. Very vibrant colors. It's pretty big for a little guy like my son, but it's mostly hidden under the cloak anyways so you can't tell it's too big (my son is pretty small). But, for the price, great buy!"
